The Metropolitan Mall Experience in Gurgaon
Yesterday me and the “Panga Terrorist†was roaming around in the Metropolitan mall in Gurgaon. I was desperately missing an old bastard and his bitch in the mall. I wish I cud see their bloody faces after some of their recent tragic incidents. Or I wish I see them regretting […]

So now the signboards of Delhi metro can be seen on the roads of Gurgaon. With Delhi metro entering Gurgaon, the property prices has now started going up. Commercial Properties by Rs. 100 psf increased with the metro effect.  As soon as reach the Metropolitan Mall on the Gurgaon - Mehrauli road, you see the Metro workers working along with the sides of the mall. So… its time to celebrate.
Just after enjoying coffee at Barista and the hi-tech movie “Stealth†in the Metropolitan Mall, both of us had a burger at the Mc Donald’s Gurgaon in the mall itself. Well, then we planned to have some “aankhon ki sikai†in the DT mall. Just being there, we saw the Delhi Talkies.
I liked the design of the mall. Almost same as the Metropolitan Mall but much cleaner a less crowded, has a better atrium space and better brands than Metropolitan. As soon as you enter the mall, you have most of the sports brands (nike, reebok etc.) at your left. At the right you have CTC Plaza, Archies and other nice showrooms. Other brands like Yatra.com, bibs and cribs, a mobile store by future group, food court are there. At the week ends you can enjoy live music by some band.
Idiotic changes in the roads in Gurgaon
This is strange as well as frustrating. The Gurgaon traffic police has the Bristol circle to a Bristol U to avoid traffic jams. Now, people who are coming from Delhi and want to visit the malls will have to go straight from Sikandarpur Cirle to the Golf Course road and take a U turn from the DT Mega Mall. This is bullshit. Earlier they have done this on the Mehrauli road by closing the U turn before the Metropolitan Mall for Sushant Lok and travelers have to travel a long way from Metropolitan to
I have seen the new book store called the “landmark†in the DLF Grand Mall on the Mehrauli Gurgaon road. The Store is definitely the best in Gurgaon leaving behind OM Book in the Metropolitan Mall and the CROSSWORD at the GALAXY mall at sector 15. Good collection of books, VCD’s DVD’s, Stationary products and my favorite - the Soft toys. Worth a visit.
With my experience and the DT Mall, Metroplitian Mall, Bangla Saheb, and Dariyaganj in the last week, I was wondering that the gurls of the NCR specially Gurgaon and Delhi have changed a lot. U know what I mean ???
From my experience of the last 8 years, I see a lot of difference in the Gurls and Aunties specially the middle aged one.
Have there been some changes in the water of the region?? Or the formula of the water itself has changed?? Is it the same H2O, which I used to learn in the 9th Class?? or is it
Well strategic location and very near to the Ambi Mall at the Delhi Gurgaon Border, just opposite to Udyog vihar. There is news in the real estate market the Bharti Walmart Retail venture has planned to take the complete mall (or maybe a large part of it) for their massive retail store.
So the 1 Km of shopping mall is taking is in final stages of completion and now brands like Reliance Retail, Big Bazaar, Reliance Trendz, Debenhams and visible in the mall. The company “Ambience†developer has developed something which takes care of your shopping as well as your health. Just move to the mall and take a too and fro round of each floor, I hope you will move 10 km in that.
Got a chance to visit this mall today, nice mall with full occupancy and most of the known brands including Mc Donald’s, Sagar Ratna and more.
Well the best thing about it is that its cheaper than other and parking is not a issue …. And the worst is that Sohna road is in a very bad shape, so you need 10 extra min to reach the hall and you can find the web site of the SRS Cinemas easily for booking online ticket. Also, in case you go for a late night show at SRS at the Omaxe Plaza, there are chances you may get frightened coz the Audi is generally with a lesser or almost very low crowd and when the show ends late
