Cadbury

Cadbury Dairy Milk is a brand of chocolate bar that is made by Cadbury plc and is sold in several countries around the world and first went on sale in the United Kingdom in 1905. The Dairy Milk brand was also introduced as an endorsement brand on children’s products such as Cadbury Buttons and Freddo. It is produced by Cadbury UK in the United Kingdom, and under licence by The Hershey Company in the United States. The eggs are manufactured at the Bournville factory in Birmingham at the rate of 1.5 million per day, and also at other Cadbury factories in countries such as New Zealand.

Cadbury World is located in the Cadbury Factory site at 280 Cumberland St, close to the city centre near the Octagon. All the tours provide the ticket holder with access to the Cadbury World retail shop, which has chocolate at discounted prices compared to supermarkets in Dunedin, and unique, novelty souvenirs. Cadbury World recently got updated to a new aztec and jungle themed rooms this making it more like the Cadbury World, Birmingham.
