Surya Roshni
Surya Roshni started in 1973 when it set up its steel pipe plant at Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Surya is the only lighting company with 100 per cent backward integration. It manufactures all its components. Surya Roshni has become the first company in India to launch the production of next generation of Energy Saving Lights (ESL)-the T5 tube light. Surya Roshni has also undertaken energy saving education campaign, an initiative to educate shop owners across India, starting with Maharashtra about new products and its benefits.
Surya Roshni is taking big strides in its chosen areas with tested skills, commited workforce, vast experience and mature leadership. Apart from these, the company is setting up a spiral welded and steel pipe plant for oil and gas sector in Anjar taluk of Kutch district with an initial investment of Rs 200 crore and plans to invest another Rs 200 crore on its proposed expansion.
