I think all those who are against Scorpio should drive its VLX version and Automatic……. It’s awesome in drive ,in pick up. It has cruise control, tunnel lightening,RPAS & automatic gear as well in 11 to 12 Lacs only which is much less as compared to features provided. And those who are talking about interior styling and leg room with innova should consider one thing very clear in mind that it is design of 2002 for indian customers whose average percentile heights are 5′5” not like toyota launched in 2006 launched in global market then in india.. It is obvious that will be………..Company says it right nothing else will do

All you ppl above —– You have NOW confused me on what to buy Scorpio or Innova i was convinced with Innova but i know it looks large than a sleek Scorpio which look rough… But yes innova is definitely comfortable… Infact i am going to buy innova tommorow and read this today…. However i think i will go in for Innova … But cant say what i decide tommorow…..

innova is more like a luxury car which can carry 7 or 8 peoples .
scorpio is more like a upgrade version of jeep which lacks comfort , handling is not up to the mark . it has style & go anywhere ability which r its plus points.
i would like innova because of its comfort & its a toyota .

hey tht right tht we cqnt campare a suv n a muv . as tht the innova g comes at a price of 10.90 lacs where the new scorpion vlx fully loaded comes in tht price range thts 10.97 lacs hows tht. so the innova is much costlies in terms of price

you can not compair innova with scorpio. innova is just a passanger car meant for travel guys. scorpio is the best. if u have become an uncle, go for innova, and if u still a young chap, go for scorpio!!!

well, the point here is… how many people are using the vehicle as roughly as you have used.

I know that scorpio has a utility for people who want to drive it on terrains, and innova is more of a luxury passanger car rather than a SUV. i am happy that you are happy about your scorpio, but innova is definately a better option for people driving in cities and need more comfort. The main drawback with scorpio is that it has a very less legroom which is a serious problem for people of older age and definately not if you are carrying kids.

I m so amazed to the read the above article. The guy doesn’t even know that there can’t be any comparrison between a horse and a donkey. Innova is totally in different segment from scorpio. how can u compare the two.One is SUV and the other one is cross of car and stationwagon. sorry to hurt u boys…but pls grow up. If u can’t appraciate scorpio u r duds. My xperience of scorpio is of 2.5lakh kms both in older and new version, and beleive me this is best vehicle in SUV category. I ve done all type of terrains from smooth roads to leh ladhak to china border to the entire himalayan range with minimum hassles and maintenance. just try on in ur Innova and feel the difference. All the best to u all.

You are right… I have tested the scorpio many a times, I am happy with the engine performance, but not with the interiors and the legspace.

Mahindra Guys should think over redesigning the vehicle for better comfort and space.

I have seen the Mahindra AXE. That vehicle is really worth seeing but they are designing the vehicle for defence use only.

I have test driven a Mahindra Scorpio ‘n’ number of times but very recently I went for Innova test drive and was totally taken in for a shock…It went to become one of my best test drives ever as the vehicle is so smooth…
