Reviews I had a meeting with a client today at Galaxy hotel in Sector 15 Gurgaon near to me house. The good thing is that I never new that I had suck a beautiful restaurant nearby with good food too. The bad thing is that it’s one of the costliest in my experience. Three glasses of juice, 2 coffees a grilled sandwitch and a corn pakoda costed me approx 1700 bucks. This is damn costly. I could have visited the 32nd milestone which belongs to the same owner (I think) and is comparatively much cheaper.

Hotel Industry after Commonwealth Games 2010
Our country, especially Delhi is preparing fast for the Commonwealth games in 2101. I was just going through the Newspaper and saw that the DDA is auctioning hotel sites in Delhi in September 2006. These hotel sites are in Jasola, Dwarka, Shalimar Bagh, Wazirpur and many more sites are there. 10 sites will be auctioned in September itself.
The study by these newspapers says that if the Hotel site is auctioned for Rs. 400 Crores and the hotel building of 400 rooms will approximately need 600 Crores that makes the total to be 1000 Crores. In
I have seen the new book store called the “landmark” in the DLF Grand Mall on the Mehrauli Gurgaon road. The Store is definitely the best in Gurgaon leaving behind OM Book in the Metropolitan Mall and the CROSSWORD at the GALAXY mall at sector 15. Good collection of books, VCD’s DVD’s, Stationary products and my favorite - the Soft toys. Worth a visit.
Commonwealth Games: Just 1500 days to go
So the countdown for the Commonwealth Games 2010 has just begun. Its just 1500 days more and do you think that are we ready for it? Athletes from 71 countries will in the capital and there are many things that need to be done. Delhi is short of hotel rooms, infrastructure, transport facilities, logistics and much much more.
Wet n Wild Resort in Gurgaon
Wet n wild resort is one of the oldest properties in Gurgaon. Me and my family went there for dinner for birthday celebrating birthdays of my mother and wife. The Wet area closes before 8 PM so we could not enjoy that :( . But the restaurant is fine. They have approximately 20 tables for dining and they serve food as well as wines in that. I have stayed in their hotel rooms too on the first floor. The rooms are also nicely designed and the best things to see are the bathrooms. Well designed
Which is better? Above or under the ground? News is that the Delhi Metro in Gurgaon will be above the Ground. The metro will be under the ground right from Central Secretariat to Saket and after Saket, it will be above the ground coming from Qutub Minar, Andheria Mor, Rajokri, and entering Gurgaon from Sikarnderpur to DT Mall and finally ending at IFFCO Chowk (I donno what are the further plans).
If its above the Ground, then its for sure that the aesthetics and beauty of the Malls on the Mehrauli – Gurgaon road are going to shatter. No doubt that
