Divya Joshi
Divya Joshi’s rise as devotee of lord Vishnumaya was well predicted by great grand mother Chakki. Cheerambath family has a background of offering and conducting special prayers and rituals for Lord Vishnumaya. Cheerambath faced innumerable problems on all fronts. As per the tradition an astrologer was called to find out the remedial measures to overcome the problems of family. Divya was earlier arrested in June 2008 following raids at her ashram.
Often it is magical cure and greed for wealth that drives people to such charlatans; who thrives cheating their worshippers off their wealth. Divya Joshi was no different; she thrived on wealth grabbed from her followers which led to her eventual downfall.
