Dinner at Plaza Solitaire Gurgaon
Had dinner with friends with wives at the Plaza Solitaire at Sector 14 Gurgaon. I just had a sweet corn soup and others had Dal Makhani, Vegetable pulao, Shahi Paneer, Missi roti and vegetable raita. Food is so so, ambience is good but prices are higher compared to others. We actually planned for Dana Choga, just in the front of Plaza Solitaire but to our disappointment, all the tables were engaged. Nice dinner though… we missed you ankur

Madhuban Restaurant near PVR Saket New Delhi
Had dinner with friends at this restaurant yesterday. The entrance is a tunnel like structure with orange color as if you are entering a castle, ambience is like the normal restaurants as we had is Plaza Solitaire Gurgaon. The food we had there was Dal Makhani (which is the obvious order), Shahi paneer and Missi Roti along with vegetable Raita. Dal makhni was exactly the taste I always relish. Missi Roti was undoubtedly the best I have ever had in Delhi (soft and tasty), not better than the Rajasthani Missi Roti. Shahi paneer was
Wet n Wild Resort in Gurgaon
Wet n wild resort is one of the oldest properties in Gurgaon. Me and my family went there for dinner for birthday celebrating birthdays of my mother and wife. The Wet area closes before 8 PM so we could not enjoy that :( . But the restaurant is fine. They have approximately 20 tables for dining and they serve food as well as wines in that. I have stayed in their hotel rooms too on the first floor. The rooms are also nicely designed and the best things to see are the bathrooms. Well designed
Village Aroma Restaurant Gurgaon
I went out with my family for dinner again and planned to have dinner at Dana Choga at sector 14 in Gurgaon. But to our disappointment, the restaurant was already booked 4 -5 families waiting outside for meals. Then we decided to go to Raj Mahal Delux in Old Gurgaon. In the way just ahead of Karims, there a Restaurant called “the Aromaâ€. My mom said that she would prefer to try a new place this time.
We went to AROMA and guess what, the ambience is like typical village style with folk paintings and chattais hanging on
I have been to this place 2 years back and believe me at that time there was no better place to date with girlfriend. Now the number of malls in Gurgaon and Delhi have over taken the charm of this place. Actually our Netaji’s arjun ka rath jammed on the way when we were on the way to Gurgaon and fortunately it happened near to the famous Ansal’s Plaza. We went to Mc Donald’s over there and had our lunch waiting there for the mechanic.
I was at this restaurant coz my wife forced for have south Indian food. I haven’t been to Sagar ratna at DT City Centre in Gurgaon, but the experience at the one at Ansal Crown Plaza Faridabad was good, the ambience especially. With well decorated Ganesh Ji at the entrance and the south Indian fragrance (I have been to many restaurants in Kerala and Tamil Nadu) of Dhoop Battis, the ambience was good. The food quality was more or less same as the other South Indian restaurants. But I feel Coco Palm at DT City Centre is better.
Are there and fish shops in Gurgaon. Not to eat … but for our office aquarium. I saw one in Qutub Plaza DLF Phase 1 but could not find a good variety over there.
I have been traveling frequently to Rajasthan because of my business trips, income tax assessments, handicrafts, Delicious Rajasthani cuisines and especially, my family and in laws. On the way, there are approx 10 Reliance petrol pumps out of which 5 have the A1 Plaza.
On the way to Rajasthan 4 Reliance Pumps are not operational. I have noticed that the price of fuel at these petrol pumps is 2 – 3 Rs more than the others in Rajasthan. Also as per the owners of these pumps, Reliance is exporting most of the fuel because of profits. So the operational petrol pumps
Got a chance to visit this mall today, nice mall with full occupancy and most of the known brands including Mc Donald’s, Sagar Ratna and more.
HSBC Bank in JMD Regent square Gurgaon: Fastest Service
Ha ha …. So this was a wooing experience for me. The HSBC Bank in the JMD Reagent Square on the Mehrauli - Gurgaon Road has the fastest service I have ever seen. This may be because of the lack of customers. I had received a self Cheque from a client for a real estate deal. There were actually 3 – 4 customers in the Bank, who were waiting for the bank personnel to attend them. The cash counter, bank manager, personal manager, relationship manager were free doing nothing. I counted the
This time I was in a birthday party of a very close relative in saket. So there was nothing to think or decide upon as to where to have the dinner party. We went to our old addaa Madhuban Fine Dining at PVR saket. This time we had a better meal and there was nothing we can give a negative review. The bar has a much better ambience than the restaurant but you cannot take you family there. With tables, beer bar so seating for different people, they have given different choices. One again a nice meal. My genuine advice
