No good drivers in Gurgaon

Friday, August 31st, 2007

I am looking for a drivers for my Tata Safari, Toyota Innova and Hyundai Accent but could not get one in the town.

If the driver is experienced….
Then his salary expectations are as high as 10000 bucks a month which includes accommodation and food. And you don’t know when he’ll leave if he finds a better offer.

If the driver is inexperienced….
Then you have your car at risk every time, whenever the car is with the driver and you are at home, your heart beat is on a higher side.

If you get a driver from Rajasthan….
He has no idea of the ways in Delhi and Gurgaon and most awful is when he makes idiotic mistakes and an excuse that he has never seen so many cars before in his life…

Why Americans prefer live in relations instead of Marriages

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

I was just reading my gmail and landed up at some articles and after reading that its very easy to figure out that its good to be in live in relations instead of Married life.

Michael Jordan married with Juanita, a bank officer in 1989. Over the period of total time of marriage Michael has earned about $350 Million dollars infact much more then that I calculate all the means of earnings. Now the divorce case is pending between them. If Juanita press hard for the half she could get the settlement of about $150 million.

This is not the only case, here are few old cases of high profile divorce settlement.

Neil Diamond & Marcia Murphey. Estimated settlement: $150 million. Divorced After 25 years of married life.

Steven Spielberg & Amy Irving. Estimated settlement: $100 million. Divorced after 4 years of married life

Harrison Ford & Melissa Mathison. Estimated settlement: $85 million. After 12 years of married life.

Kevin Costner & Cindy Silva. Estimated settlement: $80 million. Divorced after 16 years of married life.

Paul McCartney & Heather Mills. Settlement pending: Possibly more than $60 million. The former Beatle wed Mills, a model-activist 30 years his junior.

James Cameron & Linda Hamilton. Estimated settlement: $50 million
Michael & Diandra Douglas. Estimated settlement: $45 million + two big homes in major cities.

Lionel & Diane Richie. Estimated settlement: $20 million. 36 year old wed with 18 year old girl. Among her claims: a monthly clothing allowance of $15,000; $50,000 a month for manicures, massages and other personal services; and a plastic surgery budget of $20,000 a year.

Mick Jagger & Jerry Hall. Estimated settlement: $15 to $25 million

Dollar Vs Rupee : Crash and Loss

Friday, May 4th, 2007

So this is a good time for the importers, dollar is nearing 40 INR and most of the export contact are in jeopardy. Most of my college time friends are importers and it’s a boom time for them. I have recently suffered a loss of 1 peti in my last order approximately just because of this fluctuation. What to do?

Shall we curse the exporter (including us) that they exporting too much or the importers that they are not importing much.

Hyundai making faulty cars

Monday, February 12th, 2007

Just got the news that Hyundai has just loss a case against a car owner in Delhi for selling him a faulty Hyundai Accent car. The Courts has ordered the company to replace the faulty car with a new one and give the owner, an additional compensation of Rs. 12,500/-. I can never imagine that the second largest car maker in India can do a shit like that. Well, is it the fault of the Hyundai Car dealer or the company itself?

One of my friends had recently visited Hyundai showroom in Gurgaon to buy a Hyundai Accent CRDI just 15 days back. But the showroom told that the company has “stopped the production of the CRDI model because of some technical flaws that causes vibrations”. We thought that this was just a promotional stunt for the new Hyundai Verna CRDI which has not performed very well in the market (compared to the Accent CRDI). Like the stratagy that Toyota used to by discontinuing Qualiz and Launching Toyota Innova But now I think, the real problem was this case which was going against the company. Let’s see what happens now, will the company launch the Accent CRDi or not.

Helicopter or a Luxury Car

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

A Helicopter manufacturing company called Eurocopter is planning to target the Indian Luxury car market… hah what a news!!!! This company is going to target the luxury car owners, hospitals, hotels and corporate giants and Business Houses to buy a helicopter than a Mercedes Benz, Porsche, or a Lamborghini.

The company claims that India has only 160 civilian helicopters. In the next five years, the country will have about 1,000 helicopters, apart from those used by the armed forces. The best part is Eurocopter will tie up financing for customers to buy their helicopters. Industry sources say that you need to pay an upfront 10 per cent of the cost of the helicopter (the price of an entry level model chopper can begin from Rs 9 crore).

GPL

I found this heading as the most appropriate for my post, the second best would have been kela. This describes the state of mind of the present generation, our generation.

There’s a girl whom I found on internet, on one of the common socializing networks; I found her description good and thus want to be friend with her.

Here starts the situation for which I have named this blog as above. There was a common friend, a common institution and hence I approached her; all online. I guess even she must have liked my description, so gaadi nikal pari.

After a few weeks of chatting, I asked for her number and she politely refused saying that since she belongs to a very decent family and hence cant give. Oyee, hum kya lukhe hain?

Then again after a few months I asked her if she gotta pic online, dekhain to sahee yeh traditional girl kaise dikhti hai. Again NO, as she now too belongs to the same family and hence cant send her pic online.

So far so good, I was wondering as what has happened to my dignity and why am I chatting with her ? probably because by now I have started liking her; well you cant expect better from Delhi boys anyways. So, it became a routine phenomenon. Tabh laga aree enough is enough.

Then I deleted her from all the messengers, from my friend list. Obviously she came to know about it, asked me and I had no explanations.

I still don’t have any explanation.

I am waiting for your opinion, your advice. Can you help me out ?

Hutch Customer Care : Bad experience at the First Sight

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Inspite of my bad experience with Motorola Gurgaon, I have purchased a Motorola Handset today… :D. Well the company’s administration can be bad, but the designs and models of the handsets they have launched are applicable.

So, with the new mobile and a new hutch connection, I was told that my number will start within half an hour. When it didn’t happen for the next 4 hours, I called the Hutch Customer Care service at Delhi and the number was Busy. I could not believe that this has never happed to me even with Reliance India Mobile Services and with MTNL too. The Company’s (Hutch) Customer care number inspite of putting the customers on hold are offering that not to even connect the phone to the customer care. What do you call that :  COST CUTTING??

Motorola Gurgaon : So I finally receive the payment

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Today I finally received the cheque from Motorola Gurgaon. I always knew that the Account personnel are the worst people in the company but I never knew that a customer care officer can get the payments done for the suppliers.

I had to actually file a compliant at the Motorola web site for non payments of my bills for supplies to Motorola Gurgaon. A Senior customer care employee regarding the issue, called me 5 days back and she got my payments done today. This is called real Customer Care service and duhhhh to the account department.

What to do if people can’t foresee?

Friday, December 29th, 2006

I am not able to understand that people can’t foresee the changes they would see after 5 years from now. Some of my colleagues are facing the problem which I had told them 2 years back.
