So the 1 Km of shopping mall is taking is in final stages of completion and now brands like Reliance Retail, Big Bazaar, Reliance Trendz, Debenhams and visible in the mall. The company “Ambience” developer has developed something which takes care of your shopping as well as your health. Just move to the mall and take a too and fro round of each floor, I hope you will move 10 km in that.
Just visited the Pizza Hut that we regularly do at the Bestech Centre Point in Gurgaon, they have added much better stuff in the menu than before. Now you have mushroom soup, which I had and its yummmmmy. I love Masala lemonade so could not miss that. Mom tried a pasta dish which was nice and now you have a Garlic Bread Platter which has 2 pieces each of 3 different variety of Garlic Breads. New Pizzas are added which I could not try in a single day. Will have to visit 5 – 7 time more to try all the new dishes.
Well while our visit to Chokhi Dhani Resort, we have tried the CNG kit in our new Jaguar. I got an average of 96 Paisay per KM. Performance is almost the same as petrol coz I managed to run it at 135 Kmph. This is good man…. but the worst part was that we could not find a CNG outlet at Jaipur. Rajasthan has only LPG stations. Overall the nice trip and a great value for money, at least you are driving a luxury car at the running cost of a bike.
We just had a stay at the Choki Dhani Resort : A Heritage resort in Jaipur which is very famous nowadays for its village like atmosphere and Food specially. They have more than 100 rooms which are worked with paintings and glasswork from inside. Bathrooms are regular, you will find that the room entrance door is exactly like you have in the village (the chain lash) system.
Apart from the room, the reception is impressive. I had an opportunity to visit the Bar and its good. Overall it’s an above average hotel coz I think that there are many improvements that can be done in the rooms as well as the garden areas to make. I have seen some heritage hotels in Jodhpur and they are awesome and better.
Today I had my last transaction with Bank of India. This is all because of their insane services and idiotic personnel of FOREX department. I’ve shifted all the business to HDFC now and I hope to get better services from now.
So, here’s the story of me and Bank of India. My father has many bank accounts with “Bank of India” since 1984. He forced me to have my account with them too since we have a good relationship with them and that we the biggest mistake I did.
I opened an account with them for my Handicrafts Export Business. I had a good amount of sale and got payment in US Dollars from my Canadian Buyer. Since the Cheque was from Canada, then Forex Department THOUGHT that the cheque is in Candian Dollars and they remitted the amount in Canadian Dollar, that dispute wasn’t over and a new thing happened, they lost a cheque of mine of a fair good amount from Australia, then found it after 15 days and then it was sent for collection and the third dispute over interests. The story is not over, there are many more things going on still now.
Now I have finally decided to shift to some other bank. Well, I know that for exporters, this is not a good time for Business, but the bank is the one who can be a real culprit and can happen to be a mosquito in the game to suck your blood.
Particularly in DLF, this market is very popular, with shops and corporate office and brands like ICICI, Reliance Communication, Fortis, Dana Choga and more than 400 shops, this market has everything that one need. But the worst thing is that it’s so dirty and stray animals all over. Either there is no authority to take care of it or the residents are not paying the charges for development and maintenance.
Now this is a real Controvery, my wife had Gol Gappe at all the three places and now she’s confused that which is the best, well that’s not a new thing coz girls are confused about everything they do :P. Well, all of my other friends, say that Om sweets is better than Bikanerwala in Gurgaon, but I think that nothing can beat the roadside Chaatwalas.
Gol Gappe (pani puri) is one of most liked chaat I think. My wife is crazy about it. She is not at all interested in the shahari chaat, she likes all the way the village chaat and that’s true I think. The Chaat with road smoke and sweat of the chaatwala has to taste better anyway :).
I was at this restaurant coz my wife forced for have south Indian food. I haven’t been to Sagar ratna at DT City Centre in Gurgaon, but the experience at the one at Ansal Crown Plaza Faridabad was good, the ambience especially. With well decorated Ganesh Ji at the entrance and the south Indian fragrance (I have been to many restaurants in Kerala and Tamil Nadu) of Dhoop Battis, the ambience was good. The food quality was more or less same as the other South Indian restaurants. But I feel Coco Palm at DT City Centre is better.
