The results of CAT exam held on November, 2007 will be out on 8th January, 2008 , Tuesday. About 2.25 lakh candidates appeared for this test among them 40,000 are from Delhi. On the basis of this result about 5000 student will be shortlisted for Group discussion and personal interview.

Today I had my last transaction with Bank of India. This is all because of their insane services and idiotic personnel of FOREX department. I’ve shifted all the business to HDFC now and I hope to get better services from now.

So, here’s the story of me and Bank of India. My father has many bank accounts with “Bank of India” since 1984. He forced me to have my account with them too since we have a good relationship with them and that we the biggest mistake I did.

I opened an account with them for my Handicrafts Export Business. I had a good amount of sale and got payment in US Dollars from my Canadian Buyer. Since the Cheque was from Canada, then Forex Department THOUGHT that the cheque is in Candian Dollars and they remitted the amount in Canadian Dollar, that dispute wasn’t over and a new thing happened, they lost a cheque of mine of a fair good amount from Australia, then found it after 15 days and then it was sent for collection and the third dispute over interests. The story is not over, there are many more things going on still now.

Now I have finally decided to shift to some other bank. Well, I know that for exporters, this is not a good time for Business, but the bank is the one who can be a real culprit and can happen to be a mosquito in the game to suck your blood.

I have been experiencing trouble in my life from the last few days…. Just because of impatience of people. Why we expects the results so early that we even don’t want to wait for the things we have to do to reach our goals.

Now IITs and IIMs will be able to offer online courses to various aspirants who are not able to do regular due to some circumstances. The Distance Education Council (DEC) allowed all premier institutes in the country to offer online courses. Now IITs and IIMs can design online courses and can set up the virtual campus for a vide range of students. This move is seen as a major boost in the distance education and open learning system. India’s premier institute Indian Institute of Science (IIS) is already running an online course in collaboration with a foreign institute. Seven IITs and IISs are collaborating for the National programme of Technology Enhanced Learning on a trial basis by developing curriculum based video and web courses.

 I am not able to understand that people can’t foresee the changes they would see after 5 years from now. Some of my colleagues are facing the problem which I had told them 2 years back.

Neither we are supplying any parts for their phone nor are we in SCM for them. We supply real estate services to the company. But the management does not care for the agents which supply properties for their employees. The commission is remitted in 2 months, and foremost the concerned lady in the department has 10 forms to fill and then loosing the form 2 times coz se TOO MUCH WORK TO DO!!

Boss, you need to have real negotiation skills when you have to get the real estate deal done between a Punjabi and a Baniya . I’m a Baniya too but I now realized that how difficult it is to convince the baniya to sell the property. Me and Netaji got a deal done between these 2 parties sometime back. The property is at IMT Manesar in Gurgaon.

The seller is thinking that he is doing a favor on the buyer by giving the property and actually the position is the same with the buyer also. At the time of agreement, both had their own point of view and believe me, it took around 5 hours of hardcore negation to get the deal done. Thank God!!!
