Big Boss : a good time pass at Sony TV

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

The game of big boss is the only tv show I can watch, infact any guy who hates all those sas bahu serials by Ekta Kapoor and team of star can pass the time with this Big Boss.

Big Boss has all the mirch masala which one can see and tolerate. You can see the girls gossiping but boys too are not exception here even they are far ahead of girls in this race. You see that we are far far better then all those celebrities (So Called) in real life. Ravi is fun in this whole game. I don’t know he is playing or just doing what actually he is but I like his character a lot. Ek dum bindas. Rakhi is fun to see, her idiotic actions are adding the flavor in this show. Madam rondu (Rupali) I don’t know how she manage to be an actress in some comedy show. And lot other of funny characters and funny situations are going on out there.

Love to see Big Boss. The only serial I watch on TV.

Naturopathy : the best way to be fit

I have been visiting the naturopathy institutes in Haryana for taking treatment for the last 3 years. Earlier I used to take the treatment at Vardaan Aarogya Sansthan at Najafgarh but the sad thing is it closed coz of low market exposure. Now I visited the Sanjeevni Kaya Shodhan Sansthan at Gohana. The place is perfect health centre with great facilities and low charges. For a non AC room they charge Rs. 800/- a day and for AC Rs 1100/- per person, which includes room rent, food, treatment, yoga classes, meditation classes, gym, Acupressure.

CBSE AND NCERT SUCKS

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

By Ratika Goel

I’m going to tell you exactly what all the students of class 11th and 12th think. With so much competition and our future on stake…CBSE and NCERT are out for our lives. Ever since they have changed the syllabus for class 10th, 11th, 12th they have not stuck to one syllabus for more than a year. Every year I get to hear from teachers “This chapter won’t be there in the syllabus next year”. I mean its CRAZY. It is hard to pass the entrance and CBSE is cutting down the syllabus and NCERT is trying to make our chapters east and they are deleting important chapters and important points. We HAVE to stick to our reference books no matter what, if we want to pass our entrance exams. CBSE Board Papers have very good question but where are the answers??? NCERT book don’t provide answers to their own questions and again we need to dig our heads in the reference books for the answers. I’m a class 12th student and I had to buy reference book for all 4 subjects and all my NCERT books are stacked away in a corner and there is 2-inch thick layer of dust staring at me. And after all this, my teachers ask me to write answers according to NCERT. That’s STUPID and NON-SENSE. If the can’t provide
answers to our question why do they even have those silly books. I saw the new NCERT books of 11th for biology and I felt sick to my stomach. That book has just got stupid colored pictures and I was not even able to see anything in those diagrams. The text is so
short and it doesn’t explain anything. Its better that we buy reference books than these useless NCERT books.

All I can say is that CBSE and NCERT books don’t really understand what they are trying to do to us. And if they don’t stop these changes which are not helping in anyway, we will have to think about taking admission in schools with ICSE board.

Motorola Gurgaon: No care of Suppliers

Friday, October 13th, 2006

Neither we are supplying any parts for their phone nor are we in SCM for them. We supply real estate services to the company. But the management does not care for the agents which supply properties for their employees. The commission is remitted in 2 months, and foremost the concerned lady in the department has 10 forms to fill and then loosing the form 2 times coz se TOO MUCH WORK TO DO!!

Strange, that these multinationals do not know how to manage their time and resources. I hope that Motorola after reading this compliant will hold classes for their employees on Time Management.

Richie Rich Supreme Court of India

Monday, October 2nd, 2006

Strange! I have heard from somebody today that this quarter the Supreme Court of India has received a donation of Rs. 1300 Crores and the obvious reason behind that is the demolition durby going on in Delhi by the MCD. If this news is correct, then I think that its better that this fund is going to one of the Supreme powers of the country and at least not warming the pockets of the corrupts officers in the concerned departments.

Eureka Forbes: Pathetic and Insane Service!!!!

Eureka Forbes: Pathetic and Insane Service!!!!

I have been using the “Aqua guard” (which I think is the most successful product that the company has ever launched) from the last 10 years when I shifted to Gurgaon. After getting nice services from the manufacturing company called “Eureka Forbes” for this product, I am now cursing the company for their pathetic services.

As I have been telling on my blog that my home is undergoing renovation and especially the modular kitchen, I had to remove Aqua Guard and the RO water treatment plant for the renovation work. My mom called up the Aqua Guard service centre in Gurgaon and asked her to get the shifting done. The lady talking on the other side told us that it would be done next day. The guy didn’t come the till now (on the next to next day).

Update : more unsatisfied customer of Eureka Forbes like me.

Hyundai Accent: Review after 1,00,000 Kms

I have a Hyundai Accent CRDi, the Diesel variant which I bought about 3 years back from Udaipur, Rajasthan. The car is as good as new (the engine) even after running 1,00,000 kms. One of my very good friends bought the same car at the same time and even with the same color. The only reason we chose this car was because of its powerful CRDi engine 82 Bhp @ 4400 rpm which I think was not available in any other car of the same category. This was a new technology at that time, which I think was only available with this car.

I have been driving cars since 6 years, which is though a small time period, but I would like to give some tips to get the best results from these cars. Though my experience is very less, still…..

(1) Get the cars timely serviced.
(2) In case your driving is rash or on bad roads, then get the car serviced at shorter intervals maybe 6000 – 7000 Km if the company has prescribed 10000/- km intervals.
(3) Avoid multiple people handling the vehicle.
(4) Use proper gear ratio. Try to change gears before 2000 rpm (for Hyundai Accent CRDi)
(5) Drive between 80 – 110 kmph to bet the best economics.
(6) Don’t wash the car frequently, maybe once in a week is fine to avoid paint fading.
(7) Avoid AC when you are driving on bad roads or hillside.

And foremost DRIVE SAFELY
