The Monk and Axis restaurants at Galaxy Hotel

I had a meeting with a client today at Galaxy hotel in Sector 15 Gurgaon near to me house. The good thing is that I never new that I had suck a beautiful restaurant nearby with good food too. The bad thing is that it’s one of the costliest in my experience. Three glasses of juice, 2 coffees a grilled sandwitch and a corn pakoda costed me approx 1700 bucks. This is damn costly. I could have visited the 32nd milestone which belongs to the same owner (I think) and is comparatively much cheaper.

MGF Metropolis Mall

I liked the design of the mall. Almost same as the Metropolitan Mall but much cleaner a less crowded, has a better atrium space and better brands than Metropolitan. As soon as you enter the mall, you have most of the sports brands (nike, reebok etc.) at your left. At the right you have CTC Plaza, Archies and other nice showrooms. Other brands like, bibs and cribs, a mobile store by future group, food court are there. At the week ends you can enjoy live music by some band.

Pizza Hut : New Menu Additions

Just visited the Pizza Hut that we regularly do at the Bestech Centre Point in Gurgaon, they have added much better stuff in the menu than before. Now you have mushroom soup, which I had and its yummmmmy. I love Masala lemonade so could not miss that. Mom tried a pasta dish which was nice and now you have a Garlic Bread Platter which has 2 pieces each of 3 different variety of Garlic Breads. New Pizzas are added which I could not try in a single day. Will have to visit 5 – 7 time more to try all the new dishes.

Om Sweets Shyam Sweets or Bikanerwala

Now this is a real Controvery, my wife had Gol Gappe at all the three places and now she’s confused that which is the best, well that’s not a new thing coz girls are confused about everything they do :P. Well, all of my other friends, say that Om sweets is better than Bikanerwala in Gurgaon, but I think that nothing can beat the roadside Chaatwalas.

Sagar Ratna at Ansal Crown Plaza Faridabad

I was at this restaurant coz my wife forced for have south Indian food. I haven’t been to Sagar ratna at DT City Centre in Gurgaon, but the experience at the one at Ansal Crown Plaza Faridabad was good, the ambience especially. With well decorated Ganesh Ji at the entrance and the south Indian fragrance (I have been to many restaurants in Kerala and Tamil Nadu) of Dhoop Battis, the ambience was good. The food quality was more or less same as the other South Indian restaurants. But I feel Coco Palm at DT City Centre is better.

Reliance Fresh outlet in Sector 15

So, I can to know yesterday that the Reliance Retail shop that I was talking bout is actually a Reliance FRESH outlet. I don’t know what kind of vegetables and fruits they are storing but the reviews about the Reliance fresh outlet in Sadar Market of Gurgaon is real bad. Foul smell as u get inside the outlet. Mismanagement and confusion too.

Zaika : The Family Restaurant

Zaika is a good option, if you want to get the delivery very fast. This restaurant is just in the market of Sikandarpur, Gurgaon. Quality of food is good. Price is just okey. Zaika is good only for delivery otherwise overall ambiance of restaurant is not good at all.

It serve Mughlai and Chinese Cuisine.
Phone no. of Zaika is 0124-2359625, 2351455

Pink Pepper Jaipur: A nice ride

So last month we guys were in Rajasthan for the celebration of our new office at Jaipur. So the whole staff and friends and girlfriends were all there at the Pink Pepper : the fun city bus which moves you around the Jaipur City and offers 4 course meal to the visitor. The food is not that good, but the hospitality is commendable and the overall ride cost 300/- bucks per head (if you wanna enjoy full masti we recommend u to book whole bus as we did). It takes you through Gaurav Towers, University Road, JDA, Birla Temple, Statue Circle, MI Road, Bapu Bazaar, Jauhari Bazaar to Amber Fort. Must see for couples : married and unmarried :)
