From my past experience in the Real Estate Business in Gurgaon, the most important thing that one needs to run the business successfully is PATIENCE. I have come across investors and agents in the market who are ready to buy a property, some are bullish about it and for some of them, it doesn’t matter at all (maybe because it is their negotiation skill). But an agent has to be keep calm in handling the stuff in both the situations. I had a real problem in that as I confused it with an IT company where you need to have well defined targets and have to manage them in time, but I don’t think that it is possible with the Real Estate Consultancy.

I can say that for a company to run successfully, the most important thing is discipline.

Some times your investors can be the most awful thing is your life. I have came across a case in which one of my investor is complaning that I have given him a loss of Rs. 17 Lakhs by selling his property in 23 Lakhs which one year back which is now of worth 40 lakhs.

When the market is down then everybody is ready to sell the property and when the market grows then the investors have to blame the agent for this price rise!! what the hell !!

Yesterday I have came across a project in Gurgaon which has Villas ranging from price range of Rs. 6.85 Crores to 9.5 Crores. This is Strange!!!

These prices are even more than the real estate prices in the Europe. now an AAM AADMI cannot buy a house in Gurgaon and after sometime, Gurgaon will only be a place for Higher End gentry very soon!!!

I just read the news in the ET that both these groups have separately approached an entertainment company in the Jammu and Kashmir for buy its stakes. Both the brother are interested in purchasing this group for their expansion in the Entertainment industry. I an not pleased to hear that. I don’t know if this is their corporate expansion strategy or just the war in their groups. If this is a strategy then, nothing like it. But if this is a war, then I feel that these companies will end each other one day. I personally feel that both the brothers should enter into different industries and should not intimidate each others work.

Heard the news the new retail giants (RIL, TATA, RPG, BHARTI and other…) have asked the cargo companies to expand their bases in different cities so as to solve the logistics issues of these groups. Air Deccan and GoCargo are the in the news nowadays for doing the logistics work for these groups. If these retail giants are planning in a way of “Bulk Centralized Purchasing” and the world class “Supply Chain Management”, then what is going to happen with the grocery and departmental stores near our homes? With such a low prices as of Walmart and Sears they are going to change the face of the entire industry. Now the retailers have to face double shock, one is the warth of MCD and now the competition with the Retail Giants.

So, our company has a bulldog now!!!

Ironically we still have one domain with us booked by net4domains.com. Today I was in the process to renew that. I was glad to know that they are giving free .info domain with any .com or .net renewal. I filled that option too. I opted for credit card payment mode. Got the reference no. for my domain renewal process and get the prompt to pay online. I clicked on pay and it took me to some error page that Transaction page was not available or something like that. Forget it could be some technical problem.

I thought that now I have one more option to send a cheque or cash to net4domains against this renewal. I filled one sales form for some enquiry at http://sales.net4domains.com. And great I got the thank you page. You can see what was the format of that page.

Eureka Forbes: what the hell!

So, this is the continuation post of the pathetic services provided by Eureka Forbes. This time after 15 long days of waiting, finally a guy from Eureka Forbes came to reposition the machine.

Eureka Forbes Rep: What is to be done?
Customer: The machine is to be repositioned since the kitchen is under renovation.
Eureka Forbes Rep: This is Plumber’s work.
Customer: Then get the plumber and do the repositioning.
Eureka Forbes Rep: The plumber will come from our head office in Delhi.
Customer: Ok then ask him to come, he has not reached here from the last 15 days.
Eureka Forbes Rep: Ok, I’ll ask the Head office to send him. But I don’t have the drilling machine.
Customer: Ok, we have it, change the position of our Aqua Guard, the plumber will do the pipelining work.
Eureka Forbes Rep: Oh, actually I don’t know how to use the Drilling machine.
Customer: What the hell!!! Then what are you here for.
Eureka Forbes Rep: Actually I think I should go to the head office right now to get the plumber.

And THE GUY NEVER CAME BACK

I personally recommend the people who need a water treatment solution to go for an Reverso Osmosis Systey than the pathetic aquaguard by pathetic Eureka Forbes and their idiotic staff.

Are Gurgaon and Delhi prepared for flood?

I was on a Business promotion trip in Delhi. I just had to visit 3 places, Okhla Industrial Area, Kalka Ji and Mahipalpur. It was rainy weather in the city right from the morning and it started raining be afternoon.

After the rain started I had completed the Okhla’s work, but I took me 2 hours to reach Kalkaji from Okhla which is merely 10 Km from Okhla. From Okhla I took a straight root Mahipalpur via R K Puram and domestic airport. It took me 3 hours from R K Puram to the Airport itself. What the Hell!! And this just happened because of the HEAVY water logging near the airport and flyover construction going on on the way. Still not over, I got a jam at the Iffco Chowk in Gurgaon and then the insane Jharsa flyover.

If this has happened due to the 4 rainy hours in both the cities, then what will happen if it rains for 4 days? Are we prepare for flood? I feel absolutely not, coz Gurgaon itself has very poor water disposal system and especially the new Gurgaon area.
