With the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Swift’s Diesel Variant, Maruti is now on a move to start their plant in April, with the date of starting of the plant getting nearer, the real estate prices in IMT Manesar has started rising. Auto part manufactures, packaging machine, packaging material, lights and spare part manufacturers are now getting into IMT Manesar, the best Industrial area of Gurgaon according to me. I have done 4 deals in the last month of this area and I expect the prices to shoot up at least 5 times in the next 3 years.

Well, the time is real bad and it’s gonna be worst if our government will not bring down the fuel prices even of large falls in the Crude oil prices. I read the newspaper today and saw the Skoda India is planning to launch the Fabia into the Indian market, technically – the only variant or my favorite Accent CRDi. I would definitely love to have this car, but the dilemma is, shall I go for a Skoda Fabia or any other CNG vehicle in the same segment.

Gurgaon will have CNG stations soon and most of my friends have CNG vehicles and it costs them just 90 paisay a Km with a CNG vehicle!!

I saw an advertisement in the newspaper today and the ad says “Invest in the next Gurgaon”. I talked to the concerned person and he told me that the city he’s taking about is Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. This person says that in 18 months, the price will get doubled and we don’t kow how?

I haven’t heard about this city in the real estate field neither of any multinational or business industry migrating over there. What the hell!!

Today I finally received the cheque from Motorola Gurgaon. I always knew that the Account personnel are the worst people in the company but I never knew that a customer care officer can get the payments done for the suppliers.

I had to actually file a compliant at the Motorola web site for non payments of my bills for supplies to Motorola Gurgaon. A Senior customer care employee regarding the issue, called me 5 days back and she got my payments done today. This is called real Customer Care service and duhhhh to the account department.

Now Subhiksha Stores are there in Market. After Vishal, Big Bazaar, Mega Mart etc. and now Subhikhsa is in Market. Retail giants are coming in Market and ultimately end users are getting the profit

Prices of vegetables at Subhiksha are low then other vegetable shops are good localities, Groceries have big discounts, and Mobile Market at Subhiksha is wonderful. You can find the mobile worth Rs. 1200 to N-Series of Nokia that’s too either at good discount or great EMI schemes.

Subhiksha Stores are performing well till now, lets see how its going to work for long term.

Update on Subhiksha :

Now the bad thing about Subhiksha is their staff. They are not well trained, dont have good communication skills. They dont have the updated knowledge about the product they are selling. They does not seems like even a salesperson. The common shopkeepers are much better then them. This is the third Subhiksha Store I visited. The condition is same everywhere. If Subhikhsa want to survive in market, I suggest them not to try cost cutting on side of salespersons. The quality of sale team should be very good.

GDA has approved a metro cess of Rs. 340 per Square meter on all new constructions. This fund will be used for Metro Rail Project development in Ghaziabad. The board has approved the Metro routes from Anand Vihar to Vaishali, Vaishali to Indirapuram and NH-24 to Mehrauli for the integrated and Hi-Tech cities and from Shahdara to the new bus terminal.

Same type of Metro Cess is also in proposal for Gurgaon. Lets wait for Metro in complete NCR and see the fun in it then.

Subhiksha : One more in Indian Retail war

So, here a new player in the retail was now. With Wal-Mart tie up with Bharti and Reliance Retail tie up with Li and Fung, a Hong Kong based retail giant, new players are ready to take on the retail industry in India.

I saw the Subhiksha store today at the Sector 15 in Gurgaon. The store in nicely designed and is offering handsome discounts to the customers on most of the edible products. Fruits an vegetables are much cheaper than the local sabziwala that we have in the locality. But the services are not up to the mark. Home delivery is absolutely pathetic

This actually happened today, where we were going to Delhi to meet a client at Delhi brder, the client was wasting for us at Rajokri Flyover. He asked our Netaji about his location….

Client: Netaji where are you?
Netaji: Sir, I am at Shankar Chowk..

Client: Netaji, I can understand, you are definitely at Mehrauli Road
Netaji: Sir!! Aap to blacklist mat karo

And we were actually at Mehrauli Gurgaon Road.
