I haven’t been to Sagar ratna at DT City Centre in Gurgaon, but the experience at the one at Ansal Crown Plaza Faridabad was good, the ambience especially. I have been to this place 2 years back and believe me at that time there was no better place to date with girlfriend. Now the number of malls in Gurgaon and Delhi have over taken the charm of this place. Actually our Netaji’s arjun ka rath jammed on the way when we were on the way to Gurgaon and fortunately it happened near to the famous Ansal’s Plaza. We went to Mc Donald’s over there and had our lunch waiting there for the mechanic.

So, the news is that Sikanderpur Chowk will be closed for the Delhi Metro work in Gurgaon. The metro station will be located just after the Sikanderpur mor. And what about the traffic. HT Gurgaon says that HUDA is planning to divert the traffic through Garden Estate, which I personally feel is impossible. The Faridabad – Sector 42 road is open now and the best thing that can be done is that the road from Mehrauli Road which will connect to the Faridabad road should be constructed and the traffic should be diverted towards Sector 42 and Golf Course. Had dinner with friends with wives at the Plaza Solitaire at Sector 14 Gurgaon. I just had a sweet corn soup and others had Dal Makhani, Vegetable pulao, Shahi Paneer, Missi roti and vegetable raita. Food is so so, ambience is good but prices are higher compared to others. We actually planned for Dana Choga, just in the front of Plaza Solitaire but to our disappointment, all the tables were engaged. Nice dinner though… we missed you ankur :D

Madhuban Restaurant near PVR Saket New Delhi Had dinner with friends at this restaurant yesterday. The entrance is a tunnel like structure with orange color as if you are entering a castle, ambience is like the normal restaurants as we had is Plaza Solitaire Gurgaon. The food we had there was Dal Makhani (which is the obvious order), Shahi paneer and Missi Roti along with vegetable Raita. Dal makhni was exactly the taste I always relish. I have been traveling frequently to Rajasthan because of my business trips, income tax assessments, handicrafts, Delicious Rajasthani cuisines and especially, my family and in laws. On the way, there are approx 10 Reliance petrol pumps out of which 5 have the A1 Plaza. On the way to Rajasthan 4 Reliance Pumps are not operational. I have noticed that the price of fuel at these petrol pumps is 2 – 3 Rs more than the others in Rajasthan. Are there and fish shops in Gurgaon. Not to eat … but for our office aquarium. I saw one in Qutub Plaza DLF Phase 1 but could not find a good variety over there.

Had a visit at this place in the MGF Plaza mall…. I was actually looking for furniture for decorating my kids room but found out that they only keep at the most 2 design for the kids furniture. As far as I know, this is the largest furniture showroom I have ever seen in India. They have more than 20 varieties of bedrooms available for display. Other than that they have dining tables, sofa sets, rocking chairs, computer tables. The prices are definitely at a higher side, but its worth having a visit to know the latest design available in

I liked the design of the mall. Almost same as the Metropolitan Mall but much cleaner a less crowded, has a better atrium space and better brands than Metropolitan. As soon as you enter the mall, you have most of the sports brands (nike, reebok etc.) at your left. At the right you have CTC Plaza, Archies and other nice showrooms. Other brands like Yatra.com, bibs and cribs, a mobile store by future group, food court are there. At the week ends you can enjoy live music by some band.

No doubt that nobody can beat the taste of chola bhatura at small shops. Here in DLF Qutab Plaza guy searched for choley bhaturey, chowmean, dosa etc., not able to find even a single shop. At last he got tikki from road side hawker. People are rich here, must be fond of tasty food and they dont have option other then to go to DT or Sahara. Give me some name of good places near to DLF Phase-I or II where i can get tasty chola bhatura.
