Metro Cess in Ghaziabad by GDA

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

GDA has approved a metro cess of Rs. 340 per Square meter on all new constructions. This fund will be used for Metro Rail Project development in Ghaziabad. The board has approved the Metro routes from Anand Vihar to Vaishali, Vaishali to Indirapuram and NH-24 to Mehrauli for the integrated and Hi-Tech cities and from Shahdara to the new bus terminal.

Same type of Metro Cess is also in proposal for Gurgaon. Lets wait for Metro in complete NCR and see the fun in it then.

Its court getting tough or media is bringing the justice

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

Soren is in jail, Prison sentence to Navjot Singh Sidhu, live sentence to Manu Sharma, Vikas Yadav son of DP Yadav and Amardeep Singh Gill gets 4 year of imprisonment, finalizing the case of Sanjay Dutt, conviction of Sharda Jain, soft hands on Bina Ramani as she is prime eyewitness of an important case and list goes on.

Is all this signifying that court in India is now a days getting tough and free of political pressures to give the good decisions. Or its media which is bringing each and every details of high profile case in front of public as a results its very difficult to play with the fact and figures of judicial system. Which ultimately rules out the possibility to manipulate with high profile cases.

Any way now at least people are thinking twice before stating that I am so and so or is son of so and so.

Lets see what’s the impact of that is going on.

Parking and Parikrama Service at AIIMS

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

I went to All Institute of Medical Science AIIMS after a long time. I went there to see somebody in my relation who got operated out there. There used to be one parking lot in the premises just near to main entry gate of AIIMS. Which used to create lot of chaos due to full parking or bad parkers. Even some times you could see almost jam like condition in the main gate of AIIMS.

Now they have done one great thing. Just enter into AIIMS main gate, take left and go about one and half kilometer and you will find one big ground having parking capacity of approx 1000 of cars. Great… From there you can get one parikrama service i.e. free drive by battery operated vehicle having capacity of about 10 people all around the campus of AIIMS. The frequency of this service is about 15 minutes. It has not only reduces the problem due to parking bus also has solved the problem of commuting between one department to other inside the campus. Otherwise it was very difficult for patients, olds, woman or even attendants to go to different section of hospitals to get reports, medicines, foods etc. reason being the campus of AIIMS is actually huge. One thing more they require is to increase the frequency of these vehicles and everything will go smooth.

Its good to see that things are actually going in positive direction.

Honda Chowk Gurgaon : The worst place in Gurgaon.

Monday, December 18th, 2006

I have been getting the news that after the Rajiv Chowk flyover is completed, the next flyover that would start will be the Honda Chowk flyover.

I have been visiting IMT Manesar frequently, but the traffic I see over there is getting worst day by day. I have to visit IMT Manesar 7 times a week but there’s no single day when I haven’t struck at the Honda Chowk. How the flyover will be planned god know and the worst part is from where is the NHAI will divert the heavy traffic.

Chole Kulche @ IMT Manesar

Monday, December 18th, 2006

No matter how tasty are the chole kulche of Nai Sarak in Old Delhi, but the best thing I had today are the chole kulche at IMT Manesar. There’s no good restaurant in that area, except the Mc Donalds on the national highway. I had 2 plates of it and it was yammy… maybe coz I was too hungry at that time.

Naturopathy : the best way to be fit

I have been visiting the naturopathy institutes in Haryana for taking treatment for the last 3 years. Earlier I used to take the treatment at Vardaan Aarogya Sansthan at Najafgarh but the sad thing is it closed coz of low market exposure. Now I visited the Sanjeevni Kaya Shodhan Sansthan at Gohana. The place is perfect health centre with great facilities and low charges. For a non AC room they charge Rs. 800/- a day and for AC Rs 1100/- per person, which includes room rent, food, treatment, yoga classes, meditation classes, gym, Acupressure.

Subhiksha : One more in Indian Retail war

So, here a new player in the retail was now. With Wal-Mart tie up with Bharti and Reliance Retail tie up with Li and Fung, a Hong Kong based retail giant, new players are ready to take on the retail industry in India.

I saw the Subhiksha store today at the Sector 15 in Gurgaon. The store in nicely designed and is offering handsome discounts to the customers on most of the edible products. Fruits an vegetables are much cheaper than the local sabziwala that we have in the locality. But the services are not up to the mark. Home delivery is absolutely pathetic
